Catto said that he is a fan of what has come to be known as the Silver Age of Comic Books, when Iron Man, the X-Men and other classic Marvel characters came from the legendary team of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Catto was influenced by the period in the '70s when other artists and storytellers were coming to prominence and showing what could be done within the confines of the comic medium in terms of both story and art. X-Men Origins: Wolverine' Hasbro acquired the Marvel universe license and made a big splash with the release of "Iron Man" toys last year. This summer movie season it's all about "X-Men," and the toymakers have come out with a 3 ;-inch action figure line with characters from the movie, including Hugh Jackman as Logan and Wolverine (each come with interchangeable hands and clawed hands), Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds).
