    How many attempts will Hollywood producers make at recreating the Marvel Comics anti-hero the Punisher before retiring him to the collectible seals he came from. In less than a decade we ve seen Dolph Lundgren (the poor man s Jean-Claude Van Damme), Thomas Jane (the poor man s Dolph Lundgren, perhaps) and now Ray Stevenson in The Punisher: War Zone, all mopping up the blood of (insert demonized race thinly veiled as organized criminals ) while coping with post-traumatic stress disorder.
